Loved the new addition to the Guild Hunter's! Lots of exciting things happen in this book, most of which is we get to meet Raphael' Mother, Caliane, who has been asleep for many centuries, has awakened to her insanity, the very reason she went to sleep many years before. Her reawakening has been causing earthquakes, floods and all manner of destruction. But has the return of Caliane been the cause for panic or is it some other who seeks to use the reawakening for their own agenda?
What I enjoyed about this book is that Elena is coming into her own. She has made great strides in becoming a strong Archangel, being a newbie angel has it's drawbacks, though and fighting to gain equal footing with the rest of the Guild. She was a strong fighter before her change, but she has to take it to a whole new level, and being a powerful Archangel may prove to be just a little harder to accomplish than she had thought. I love the chemistry between Raphael and Elna, but would also like to she more of the rest of the Guild get there own stories of great sorrow and happiness! I gave it 4.25 stars of 5!
